Jill Farey-Humphrey

I learnt my craft at a The Essex Institute for Clinical Hypnosis, (EICH) and have now been asked to be included in the NHS “Shape your life directory”.

I qualified after  completing a course at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy. It was a demanding course with our practical and theoretical knowledge being tested throughout the course. Completion was only achieved when I sat an exam testing my ability at the end of the course. It took a two year study period to become an advanced therapist in both Hypnosis and Psychotherapy.

DHP – Diploma in Hypnoanalysis (advanced)
LAPHP –member of The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP) APHP is a member organisation of UKCHO, an umbrella body for hypnotherapy in the UK.

MAPHP(Reg.) - Upon completion of another year of intense training I qualified on the 'Advanced Therapy Diploma' I was eligible to be a full Member.

What sets this particular association apart from most of the numerous hypnotherapy organisations is the fact that every single member has been personally interviewed before being invited to join and/or has received comprehensive training by a school whose standards have been rigorously investigated.

It is not possible to become a member of the Association simply by applying.

As a member I am bound by a strict code of ethics which forbids me to practice outside my area of expertise and protects my clients, ensuring that they receive a high level of care. My membership also commits me to an ongoing training programme which ensures that my knowledge and skills are always completely up to date this also guarantees that all clients can rely on my absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.

I am fully insured with public liability insurance.

I have also qualified on a variety of other courses including specialist courses on
EFT – Emotional freedom technique
PLR – Past life regression
IBS – Irritable Bowel syndrome
and Stress Management.

I work with may different mind body related conditions, as well as Smoking cessation for those who wish to STOP SMOKING NOW.

I practice out of a designated office within a home environment. There are steps to the practice, so I also offer a home service for people who have mobility concerns.

I often longer sessions than most other therapists as I believe that it gives you, the client, longer in hypnosis than those who offer hour sessions.

I learnt my craft at a The Essex Institute for Clinical Hypnosis, (EICH) and have now been asked to be included in the NHS “Shape your life directory”.
