Therapies - Suggestion therapy
Fear of anything? Basic suggestion therapy can help to overcome many fears
and phobias. It is recommended that you undertake three sessions with the last
one being near to when you have to face your fear again.
Bad habits often become part of our everyday life; this is a suitable way of
breaking those habits which we no longer wish to keep.
Word of warning: if there is a deeper underlying emotional problem then
analytical therapy maybe a better option. - Inner Child therapy
If you have unhappy childhood memories then inner child therapy maybe used as
part of your tailor made therapy. You will be given a recording of your session
to play at home 12 times prior to your next visit. It is important that you keep
an account after each session at home. You are not charged for the work you do
at home. - Emotional Freedom Techniques
“A method of treating psychological ailments by tapping acupressure points
whilst focusing on that ailment to balance the bodies’ energy system”
Tapping various parts of the face and body in a particular sequence is
particularly useful when dealing with phobias. It allows the mind to refocus and
be able to deal with these fears.
NB - a quick note about resistance to
hypnotherapy: sometimes as you get closer to the
originating event you can feel feelings of resistance. This may take the form of
not telling the therapist what is in your mind, or feeling “it’s not working”.
This is quite common although does not happen to everyone, please try to work
through this whoever you choose your therapist to be. Therapy work best when you
fully involve yourself. |
